Group Piano for Young Beginners

These group classes are for children between ages 5 and 8 who
have had no previous music lessons. Classes are 10 weeks long, and
they replace the first 10 weeks of beginning piano lessons. Although
the focus is on piano, this is also a great way to introduce your child
to music in general. It's also a great way to find out how much
interest your child has in playing piano.

I will place between two and four children in each class. Children
must have a piano or keyboard to practice at home. At the end of
the 15-week period, children who continue to study piano will be
invited to switch to private lessons.

Materials: Children who join my beginner group classes will
receive the following materials the first day of class:
  • Two music books (one lesson book and one activity book)
  • Folder for worksheets and other papers to be taken home
  • Note flashcards
  • Music tote bag and pencil

Tuition:
Registration fee (including materials):             $35
Classes (45 minutes for 15 weeks):                $150

Classes begin in September and February.

Family Discounts: Families who register two or more children in
my young beginner group classes will be charged half price on the
"classes" portion of the second student's tuition.
