| Music Instruction - Piano and Cello Piano and Cello lessons are for students of any level, beginner to advanced, from about age five to adult. Lessons are held weekly. Please see my policy letter for more details about my studio. At the end of each month, I invite my students to attend a group lesson (which replaces the private lesson for that week) where they will have an opportunity to perform for each other in an informal setting. These classes are for students only. Students are encouraged, but not required, to memorize their pieces for group lessons. I hold Recitals approximately every six months. This is where family members and friends get a chance to hear their students' progress. Students must perform recital pieces from memory. Tuition is due at the first lesson of each month. A $5 late fee will be added for each week that tuition is late. Because of my low rates, I do not give refunds. If you need to cancel a lesson, please contact me in advance so that we may reschedule that week's lesson. My number one job is being a Mommy, and it is the best job ever. But I love music, and I love teaching. My lessons are pretty casual, and I've got four little kids around here as possible distractions. So, rather than hiring a babysitter to keep my kids away, I cut my rates and figure we'll just have a good time. |
